Rotherham LA Programmes for Middle leadership in Primary and Special
The Leadership Programmes for Primary and Special Schools are an integral part of the Rotherham Partnership of Schools, Partnership Plan. They are designed to increase Rotherham’s capacity to meet the need for high quality leaders of today and tomorrow.
Strategic priority (LD2) is “to strengthen leadership capacity across the Rotherham partnership by meeting the changing needs of current and future school leaders.”
Leadership programmes for Assistant or Deputy Heads in Primary and Special are given on the ‘Senior Leadership’ page.
Aspiring middle leaders not yet on the leadership scale are eligible to apply for the Rotherham ‘Leaders of tomorrow’ programme.
‘Leaders of tomorrow’ is for teachers of 3 – 5 years experience, who are beginning to have an impact on wider school agendas and on the leadership and management of the school
Rotherham’s leadership programmes aim to develop leaders who are confident, inspired and equipped to act effectively, with a clear focus on raising standards and providing a high quality education. They are designed to build sustained capacity of leadership in Rotherham by providing tailored support appropriate to the level of experience within school leadership and management.
