Induction is a process which aims to increase the effectiveness of all staff both as individuals and team members, by ensuring they understand the policies and expectations of the school and by supporting highly effective performance. An effective Induction procedure can contribute to raised levels of job satisfaction and ensure all staff are well supported and confident in their role.
Induction has benefits for all involved in the process. Employees who settle quickly into the school will become productive and efficient at an early stage and in turn will feel valued and motivated.
