CPD Bulletin
The CPD team produce a half-termly CPD bulletin to keep CPD leaders in schools abreast of current developments, key dates and events, and a wide range of upcoming CPD activities for all school staff.
The CPD Bulletin is delivered in hard copy to schools for the attention of the CPD Leader. Alternatively you can download the current Bulletin or archived Bulletins using the 'CPD Bulletins' link on the Navigation.
CPD Leaders Network
The CPD team facilitate a network for CPD leaders in schools. The network meets 3 times a year. Details of the network meetings can be found in the Training and Development Opportunities folder in the section on Leadership and Management. (See Navigation).
Support Materials for CPD leaders
The CPD team has provided a bank of support materials to assist CPD leaders in school to lead and manage CPD more effectively:
- The ‘CPD Toolkit’ is a set of practical ideas and materials designed to support CPD leaders in schools. The materials are regularly updated to reflect national changes. They can be downloaded in Word format and adapted to suit schools' individual needs.
- The CPD team are developing ‘Opportunities Frameworks’ to allow individual schools and individual teachers to map CPD opportunities against their own and the school’s needs and aspirations.
- The first published framework is ‘CPD Opportunities for Support Staff [Teaching and Learning]

- Porfolios for staff members are increasingly being seen as an essential element of managing professional learning. The CPD team have produced ‘Building a Professional Development Portfolio’ to guide staff in creating and organising an effective portfolio.
