Children of all ages now have access to email. It comes in a range of disguises from mail that is delivered to a specified machine through the email that can be picked up from any where on the internet (Web mail or Hotmail).
It is a very valuable tool and allows children to communicate in a way not possible in other ways. However, it is open to abuse in many forms and children need to be helped to develop good practice.
