Teachers from around the Local Authority have attended a launch event and have received ideas and resources on how art can be used as a stimulus for creative work in subjects as diverse as literacy, science, ICT and history as well as art, music, dance, drama, and design and technology.
The range of work in schools that this project has inspired in the past encompasses:
research, creative writing, performance, film making, sculpture, painting, printing and collage.
This project sits firmly within the parameters of The Primary National Strategy’s vision of
‘Excellence and Enjoyment’ for all.
