Thirty seven members of staff from twenty six of our Primary and Special schools attended the creative workshops arranged to support this year’s “Picture This!” project.

The Workshop Day was designed to furnish staff with further ideas and skills that they might use in their own classrooms. All the sessions were practical and creative. They were delivered by people with a specialism and expertise in a particular area.

There was a range of workshop sessions on offer. Some were an hour and a half long and some took a full half day session. Delegates could choose to do four shorter workshops, two longer workshops or two shorter workshops and a half day session.

We are extremely grateful to all of the following people who led creative workshops linked to Paolo Uccello’s painting of St. George and the Dragon:

Music and Drama – Nick Chandley (Clifton EAZ)
Sculpture and Textiles –
Debbie Hepplestone (St. Bernards)
Ceramics –
Sandra Sanders (Wentworth C of E J&I)
ICT –
Mark Denton (Clifton EAZ)
Dance –
Chera Kincaid (Clifton EAZ)

Here are some quotes from delegates who attended the creative workshops linked to our “Picture This!” project. As you will see, the day was an unqualified success.
