Despite the weather, Roscars 2007 was another successful event for all our schools.
Roscars this year provided a 'ray of sunshine' amidst the misery of the summer floods for the children and young people of the Borough. Despite the Magna Science Park being flooded, their staff literally 'pulled out all the stops' to ensure that both events went ahead as planned.
Schools entered into all the usual categories throughout all Key Stages, producing some fantastic Moving Image and Stop Motion Animation short films.
There were a couple of additional categories this year for both Primary and Secondary schools. We introduced a Foreign Language category for Key Stage 2 and Music Video category for all Secondary age groups. There was also an award for the best Storyboards in both competitions.

10th July 2007 for Primary Schools
and 11th July 2007 for Secondary Schools
